My name is Vismita Holavanahalli. I am 18 years old, and a recent alumni of Central High School. During this fall semester, I will study psychology at Temple University, but I have gained an interest in education as well. Throughout high school, I practiced techniques to create visual art. My recent works have been sketches, sewing/beading, and a portrait drawing. My goal throughout this program is to strengthen and challenge my creativity and thinking. Art is an important form of self expression for me, but I can also use it to spread important and powerful messages.

Combining creativity with teaching, such as art therapy, is a profession that I am reaching towards as I continue expanding my skills in college.
