Matthew Palmer is a life long Philadelphian who has a passion for creative expression, historic story telling and civic engagement. As a professional tour guide and curriculum writer he blends his artistic talents with Philadelphia’s rich history to teach people about the often forgotten historical importance of the city! He began his artistic journey at 8 years old with African drum abd dance.  Since then he has become a music artist, actor, arts educator, event planner and now a Co-director of VTJ. His ultimate goal is to make hip hop a form of fine art and historical story telling!
