Carson Eckhard, is the Co-Director of SummerJawn and Vote That Jawn’s Youth Director. A Vote That Jawn alumna, she is an incoming JD- PhD student at Stanford. Carson studied history and English at Penn, where she received the President’s Engagement Prize and the Samuel Huntington Award for Public Service.

After college, Carson served as a founding board member and Vice Chair of the Liberation Foundation, a Philadelphia-based nonprofit that supports incarcerated and returning Pennsylvanians. More recently, she has been pursuing an MPhil in History at the University of Cambridge. Carson thinks Philadelphia is the best city in America. When in Philly, she can be found at Menagerie Coffee, reading, writing, and hanging out with friends.
